Sherry started looking for her classmates when she returned
from her military service in the late 70's. At her job in Sacremento,
she had access to all the US telephone books, which allowed
her to started looking for kids she had known when she was in
Now, remmber this was prior to Google, Facebook or other technologies
that today we take for granted. Think of the monumental task
that Sherry had into face.
But, thanks to Sherry's dilligence and stuborn determination,
she was able to compile a database of kids from the late 1960's
As a result of her hard work and armed with a list of students,
she was able to locate the names and addresses, which she then
sent hand written invitations. This was the first Johnson High
School Reunion held in Sacramento, California in 1980.
A few years later in 1985, this same scenerio was taking place
in Orlando Florida by another industrious JHS student, Pat Sacco

The combined work of these two students have resulted in locating
more than 2,500 students and faculty. The attendance at ours
reunions has been overwhelmingly positive.
